Cost of a Carriage Tour of Rome

by Karen
(California, USA)

How much can I expect to pay for a carriage tour of Rome starting at the Spanish Steps? I understand that the cost is per carriage not per person.

Karen says:
Yes, the cost is per carriage not per person. They can hold 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 small children. It looks like the price is 152 Euro (about $199) for 1 hour. I know that in the square in front of the Pantheon there are horse drawn carriages and also as you said there are some near the Spanish Steps. I read that you can bargain with the drivers and probably would get a better price not booking them ahead of time.

Also, I found these interesting (and quite a bit cheaper) Rome from a Rickshaw Tours you might want to check out. Hope this helps.
