Hotel Trevi Rome

The Trevi Fountain area is a favorite neighborhood in Rome....lots of tourists and locals alike. The area has a neighborhood feel and lots of ambiance. There are many small shops, cafes and eateries nearby.
The Trevi Hotel Rome was refurbished in 2006. The rooms are on the smaller side (typical in Rome) but a little higher ceilings make them feel more spacious.
The rooms include desks, television, internet, direct dial phones, mini bars, a safe and air-conditioning.
There is a breakfast room, tea room and a rooftop terrace where the buffet breakfast is served when the weather is nice.

- Best feature is the location -- the center of old Rome -- nearby streets safe day and night
- hotel Trevi is basic for what you pay, nice and clean
- the Internet system was not working (but there was an “Internet Point” in a bookstore just around the corner - the regular TV had only one Italian channel and an intermittent CNN
- tell you that they are overbooked and try to put you in a different hotel (they have five of them on other locations)....very old residential buildings that have been adapted as a hotel - have been fitted Each with One very small elevator
- breakfast - overwhelmed by the volume of guests that appeared during the last hour of breakfast - go early, 7:30 to 8:30 am there would be no problem
